Resumes Catalog

 

When you install Job Harvester it creates an initial resume for you. To complete the initial resume use the form wizard to enter data (Catalog > Edit...). The initial resume becomes your first current resume.

The current resume is marked with an asterik (*) to indicate it is your current resume. You can change the current resume at any time (Catalog > Set as Current Resume). The current resume is important. It is used in the multi-browser to do form fill and it is used by the mailer to automatically insert your current resume into the outgoing email.

Both plain text resumes ascii and formatted resumes rtf or rich text format may be created separately (File > New). However, each resume individually has both a text version and an rtf version (File > Select Version).

If you already have an existing resume it may be imported and used immediately, but since the resume wizard was not used to create the imported resume, it can not be used for form fill in the browser. Imported resumes are flat documents in that they do not have a form data base associated with them. Likewise, you may export any resume to a file, but if it has form data, the form data is not exported; only the flat document is exported.

When the resume wizard (File > New > Resume Wizard...) is used to create a form resume, that resume can be modified using the Edit tab page or the Templates tab page
